Meet Mrs. Spina
Mrs. Spina: Teacher
Welcome! My name is Tracy Spina, and I am very glad to have your child in my class this year. I am very excited to be a part of such a wonderful community here at Middle Creek! I began my teaching career in Long Island, and moved to the Raleigh area in 1994 and worked for Wake County at Adams Elementary, Yates Mill Elementary, and Herbert Akins Elementary. This is my 21st year as an elementary school teacher. I have taught Kindergarten and first grade. My Bachelor's degree is in elementary education and psychology, and my Master's degree is in Special Education. Your child's academic and social development is of the utmost importance to me. I especially enjoy teaching Kindergarten because the children truly blossom and become a school family! Friendships that are made often last a lifetime! I want to share a little bit about my family which includes my husband Steven, who works for Federal Express, my daughter Jillian (NC State graduate) and my son Christian (sophomore at NC State in the College of Engineering). Yes-we are a Wolfpack family! I write often about my family during writing time, so even if your child does not get to meet them, they will probably come home with lots of funny stories! Outside of school, I enjoy taking walks and catching up on some good books!
Mission For The Class: To become a community of learners who support each other, listen to each other, and have fun while learning.
