Mrs. Yoder: Teacher
My name is Elizabeth Yoder and I am excited to be your child’s kindergarten teacher this year and part of the Middle Creek staff. This is my 15th year teaching. I have a Bachelor’s degree in both elementary education and special education. I have a Master’s degree in literacy. This is my 9th year teaching for Wake County Schools. This is my third year teaching at Middle Creek and I feel very lucky to be here and to be a part of the Kindergarten team. I previously taught for six years at Alston Ridge Elementary. I started my teaching career in New Hampshire and have also taught in both Virginia and New York. I taught special education for six years and worked with students in preschool, 2nd, 3rd and 5th grade. Since working in Wake County I have been a first and third grade teacher.
My husband and I live in Fuquay Varina and love the area. We have two adorable fur babies named Kodie and Marley. In my free time I enjoy spending time with my family, dogs, and reading.
I am looking forward to a wonderful year with your children! I believe in keeping open communication with parents about their child’s school experiences and working as a team. I can’t wait to see what the year holds for all of us!
